This is our 25th season conducting the annual draw.
This last year has been somewhat of an unpredictable rollercoaster, we have endured times that we have never seen before. A full season so far without fans, without the Arena, KGV and Lochmaben community centre being able to open.
Fortunately, the football has been a saving grace for a lot of us, being able to tune in via the streaming service and to be able to get our football fix. With the championship being as competitive as ever we are able to push for a playoff place. This to try and secure promotion into the top tier of Scottish football, which is the sole aim of the club, to develop a club and team capable of gaining promotion and holding a sustainable position in the Premier League. The work on the field is visible to see with 3 new additions in the January transfer market, a month in which saw Allan Johnston pick up Manager of the Month and Connor Shields the Player of the Month. This success has continued through February making our record in 2021 - played 10, won 7, drawn 2 and lost only 1 game. This on top of Wullie Gibson also receiving the player of the month. We have a Scottish Cup tie against Hibernian after our victory at Hampden over Queens Park! We hope the form can continue and allow us to keep climbing the table.
Off the pitch in the past year, we have dedicated a lot of our time to helping the community in which serves us in such difficult times, from the Christmas foodbank collection which saw masses of food donated from fans, sponsors, and supporters’ groups. The festive friend’s initiative combatting social isolation around Christmas time with gifts and hampers. Created gift packages for the children in the hospital at Christmas. We opened the Arena to become a vaccination centre to help immunise our community, as well as hosting a testing centre at the KGV site since August. Our recent School is Cool home learning tools have received national press and had 100’s of children joining in, as well as it being set as homework challenges for a number of schools. The South Social project has been launched to support our fans who just want to have a chat in what is difficult circumstances. We have recently also donated 250 shirts to children throughout the region, this in partnership with the council to ensure the children who may not get a shirt ordinarily get one! This all aided by support from the shirt draw, sponsorship, funding and the continued support of all our supporters, which we are truly appreciative of.
This year we have also allowed fans to vote and select the away kit which hopefully you have voted on! This guarantees a fans favourite top, which will potentially see your name on the front! A third kit which will also have the names of all season ticket holders embedded into the design. It is a great time to join us in our quest for promotion and propelling the club to new levels and what better way to be involved than have a chance to have your name on the front of our shirt for the coming season.
Every entry receives a season ticket worth £285 for Season 2021/2022, and the benefits to your company are amazing should you secure first prize when the draw is made on Thursday 29th April 2021 at 7:30pm live on our Facebook Channel.
Please indicate which area of the ground you would like the season ticket for when entering.
